Online Grocery Delivery Service Supermart Now Lets You Receive Unlimited Deliveries

Online grocery delivery service, Supermart.ng is introducing a new delivery option called Supermart Prime that allows customers to pay N1,500 only and receive an unlimited number of grocery deliveries free for 30 days with no minimum basket size.

The service, which launched in April 2014, allows customers shop for groceries from leading supermarkets, including Park ‘n’ Shop, SPAR, MedPlus, Office Everything, Mega Plaza, 9 – 7, Chi-Shoppe, an even some select local markets.

With over 50,000 items from fresh meat, fruits, vegetables, household items, Nigerian ingredients, dry groceries, fresh bread to baby products, alcohol and office supplies, Supermart claims to deliver orders within 3 hours across Lagos.

When a customer orders for groceries through the service, the company says a well-trained personal shopper visits the shops to pick and pack the items for the customer. Then, using Supermart’s vehicles that contain insulated compartments to ensure groceries are kept at the right temperature in transit, a presentable delivery man takes the groceries to the doorstep of the customer at home or in the office.

To use the Supermart Prime feature, customers would need to select the Supermart Prime delivery option upon check out on the site and pay N1,500 instead of the usual N800 for the Standard Delivery option.
